Apprentice Carpenter

We are hiring for multiple full-time positions of *Apprentice Carpenter*.

The position is based out of *Calgary, AB* but our work radius extends to the surrounding counties.

*McKenna Construction Limited* is a carpentry contractor focused on craftmanship, quality, and accountability. Our projects range from post-frame shops and structures to residential interior and exterior finishing. Versatility is a required skill for all applicants.

The position requires the applicant to perform the following responsibilities:

* Read and interpret project plans accurately
* Measure, cut, and install materials with a high degree of attention

* Operate hand and power tools safely
* Maintain strict safety requirements
* Show up ready to work, learn, and thrive

*Skills required: *

Five (5) years minimum of relevant residential construction.

Journeyman Ticket is preferred but not required if relevant construction experience can be demonstrated.

*Compensation:*

* Base Wage *$22-28/hr* depending on experience.
* Fuel Cards for work and personal after six months employment while maintaining 90% of deliverables (To Be Discussed).
* Performance Based Incentive Bonuses depending on position and deliverables achieved.
* Profit Sharing based on projects completed.
* *FOR APPRENTICES ONLY - 100% Tuition Reimbursement upon completion of Trades Training*

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 50.0 per week
