Budtender (Cannabis Sales Associate)

*Overview*

The Budtender (Cannabis Sales Associate) provides welcoming, informed service and supports customers in selecting products suited to their needs. This customer-facing role combines retail sales, hospitality, accurate transactions, and organized merchandising in a professional store environment.

*Responsibilities*

* Welcome customers, communicate clearly in English and French when applicable, answer product questions, and provide attentive customer service.
* Operate the POS, process cashiering and cash handling accurately, and use basic math and computer skills to complete transactions and maintain records.
* Support retail sales through appropriate upselling, merchandising, filing, and organized product displays; manage time effectively and assist with heavy lifting as needed.
* Coordinate with colleagues and demonstrate leadership through dependable, organized support. Your impact: helpful service and accurate transactions make each visit smoother for customers and coworkers.

*Qualifications*

Required: Clear communication, customer service, basic math, POS operation, computer skills, accurate cash handling, organization, and time management support daily sales and store operations. English proficiency supports clear customer interactions. Preferred: Retail sales, cashiering, hospitality, upselling, merchandising, Microsoft Office and Excel, filing, and leadership experience are useful strengths. French proficiency, bilingual or multilingual communication, and comfort with heavy lifting are advantageous for serving varied customers and supporting store tasks.

Pay: From $24.98 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week
