Job Description

#1 AAA Homecare Services is seeking a *compassionate, experienced, and reliable Female Health Care Aide (HCA)* to provide personalized, total-care assistance to a female client in her private residence in Airdrie, Alberta.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience providing total care to clients with significant physical limitations and be confident assisting a larger-bodied client with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.

We are looking for a dedicated caregiver who understands the importance of dignity, patience, professionalism, and consistency in delivering high-quality home care.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
* Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
* Provide safe mobility assistance, repositioning, and transfers according to the client's care plan and required equipment.
* Ensure the client's comfort, safety, dignity, and overall well-being.
* Assist with other daily care needs as outlined in the individualized care plan.
* Observe and report any changes in the client's physical condition or well-being.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable care environment.
* Follow all care instructions and communicate professionally with the client, family, and care coordinators.

Qualifications & Requirements

*Applicants MUST meet the following requirements:*

* Hold a recognized Health Care Aide (HCA) Certificate.
* *Be actively registered with the College of Licensed Health Care Aides (CLHA) in Alberta.*
* Have previous hands-on experience providing total care to clients with high physical care needs.
* Be physically capable of assisting a larger-bodied female client while following safe handling and transfer procedures.
* Have experience with mobility assistance, repositioning, and personal hygiene care.
* Be dependable, punctual, compassionate, and detail-oriented.
* Be comfortable working independently in a private home setting.
* Have reliable transportation or the ability to commute consistently to the client's residence in Airdrie.
* Provide a satisfactory criminal record check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check.
* Provide professional caregiving references.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed care instructions.

Schedule & Compensation

* *Monday to Friday:* 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
* *Occasional weekend shifts* may be required.
* *Shift Duration:* 2 hours per shift.
* *Hourly Rate:* $20.00.
* *Employment Status:* Independent Private Contract Worker.
* *Payment:* $20.00 per hour, with no payroll deductions. Contractors are responsible for their own tax obligations.
* *Start Date:* November 13, 2026.
