Local Class 1 Driver

We are currently seeking a *Full Time Local Class 1 Driver* to join our team based in Calgary, Alberta.

*What the Job Looks Like:*

This is a *Monday to Friday, Local position* with flexible start times (some weekend and evening work required). Driver can expect to work approximately *10-12 hours per day*.

In this role, you can expect to:

* Complete a high volume of local pickups and deliveries throughout Calgary, and surrounding areas.
* Handle LTL dry freight, including TDG shipments (requiring placards)
* Operate power pallet jacks and other freight handling equipment.
* Secure your load with logistics load bars and straps
* Perform driver-assist deliveries, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
* Safely operate company equipment while adhering to all regulatory and company safety requirements, including completing electronic logs, vehicle inspections, and required documentation
* Provide professional customer service at customer locations

*The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*

* Valid Class 1 Driver's License
* Must reside within 30km of our terminal in Calgary, Alberta
* Minimum 1 Year of Verified Class 1 driving experience
* Experience with LTL pickup and delivery operations
* Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
* A strong commitment to safety and professionalism
* A clean driver's abstract & criminal record
* Strong written and verbal English communication skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required
* A positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and participate in a random testing program
