Senior Piping Designer

*Summary*

As a Senior Piping Designer, you will develop piping design deliverables for energy and oil and gas projects, including as-built drawings. Your impact: Clear, coordinated design information helps engineering and construction teams understand piping systems and carry out project work effectively.
*Responsibilities*

* Prepare and revise piping and ISO drawings and related design deliverables using CAD tools.
* Perform site visits and create as-built drawings for piping and isometrics.
* Interpret project requirements and engineering information to develop piping layouts.
* Coordinate design details with engineering and other project disciplines.
* Review drawings for clarity, consistency and alignment with available project information.
* Incorporate feedback and document revisions to support project coordination.
* For the projects, develop piping design, 2D and 3D's.
* Support development of the piping standard for the clients.
* *Qualifications*
* minimum of 10 years of oil& gas experience in Alberta.
* Proven experience in site work, as-built piping, P&IDs, and ISO drawings.
* Strong CAD drafting skills, including AutoCAD.
* Excellent knowledge of drafting and piping design standards and guidelines.
* Mechanical knowledge relevant to piping design.
* Ability to interpret drawings and engineering information.
* Preferred: Experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam, Revit or MicroStation.
* Preferred: Construction experience or familiarity with system design.
