Tuesday's evening slate sets the tone for a strong run into the weekend. Thursday brings professional women's football to Spruce Meadows, where "Calgary Wild FC v Club Soccer Mont-Royal Outremont" kicks off at 7 p.m. on Wednesday the 5th — worth putting in the diary early, as Spruce Meadows is a genuinely great place to watch a match on a warm evening.
Weather through the stretch looks manageable: mid-twenties and cloudy most days, which is fine for an outdoor walk or a patio pint before heading inside for a show. The "Photography Walk: Capture Calgary at Dawn" departs from Alt Hotel Calgary East Village at 7 p.m. Tuesday for anyone who wants to see the city differently before the week gets away from them.
