Pay: $19–$25 an hour
*Overview*
The Pharmacy Assistant role will be to support the day-to-day work of the pharmacy team by helping with overall pharmacy medication and patient care. This role calls for attention to detail, clear and friendly communication with colleagues and patrons, and supporting a safe and organized work environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist with prescription intake and pickup
* Insurance billing
* Assist in medication packaging, compliance packing, and deliveries
* Assist in phone call and web intake
* Responding respectfully to questions and directing clinical concerns to the appropriate pharmacy staff member
* Assisting in ordering and receiving pharmacy and OTC inventory
* Helping maintain pharmacy and OTC inventory
* Completing end-of-day tasks
*Requirements*
* Knowledge and practical use of KROLL software system
* At least 2 years of prior experience as a pharmacy assistant
* Strong command of English language (spoken and written)
